This is my knowledge which Java is the safest language. You may know some open source shopping carts like oscommerce, zencart, WooCommerce but only opencart is written by Java. Choosing Java as your e-commerce website 's language because internet attack will less than other languages. Especially Java 's SSL shopping cart which helped your website 's security as you have to protect your customer 's personal information and their debit cards or credit cards numbers.
